SUMMARY:Last One Standing Backyard Ultra
DESCRIPTION:The Last One Standing Backyard Ultra is a backyard ultramarathon happening alongside the Kootenay Fun 5\, giving runners a new way to push their limits. Competitors will run a 6.4 km loop (with 120m of elevation gain) on mostly single-track trails in the Cranbrook Community Forest. \n\n\n\nRunners start every hour\, on the hour\, repeating loops until only one athlete remains. Finish your loop in under 60 minutes and you’ll be back at the start line for the next round. \n\n\n\nAll participants can chase their personal best\, whether that’s two loops or ten! DESCRIPTION:The Kootenay Fun 5 is Cranbrook’s favourite way to welcome spring\, an annual community 5 km fun run that brings together families\, friends\, and neighbours for a morning full of movement and fun. This event supports Kootenay Christian Academy\, with every registration helping provide enhanced educational tools and experiences for students. \n\n\n\nParticipants can choose the original 5K walk/run on a mostly flat and fast course that’s perfect for runners\, joggers\, and walkers of all ages. After the race\, enjoy post-run festivities including a BBQ\, awards\, and more.
