Learn how to protect and preserve your family history at the Preserving History Workshop at Fort Steele Heritage Town. Led by the Fort’s Curator, this hands-on 2.5 hour session teaches simple, industry recommended techniques for caring for photos, documents, slides, negatives, and small heirlooms.
Participants will also enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Fort Steele Archives and have the opportunity to ask questions about their own items. Guests are encouraged to bring a small piece from their collection for personalized advice.
