The flagship event of the BCCF, Chorfest brings together teens and adults for an amazing weekend of singing and performing. This annual event will take place in our town this year! If you are a singer, this is an event not to be missed. It’s being co-hosted by the Mountain Song Community Choir (Evan Bueckert) and the Kimberley Community Choir (Marta Zeegers) for adults. It is a great program of all Canadian music, and we will be led by the amazing Fiona Blackburn (founder of the international award winning BC Girl’s Choir).
Designed for amateur and community choir singers, Chorfest offers a rare opportunity to join a massed choir, learn inspiring repertoire, and work with some of the province’s most celebrated musical leaders. Whether you’re a seasoned chorister or simply love to sing, we would love to have you join us.
